Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo, Egypt
Cairo Airport

Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met at the Immigration & Passport Control Area by our representative, who will facilitate the visa process (excluded) and escort you through customs and immigration. Continue to the baggage claim hall and finally to the passenger pick-up area, where you will be introduced to your driver for a private transfer to your accommodation. Check in and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2 – Full Day in Cairo: Memphis, Saqqara & Giza Pyramids

Begin your Egyptian adventure at the iconic Giza Pyramids complex, where the sun casts a golden glow over the Great Pyramid, a marvel of ancient engineering. Nearby, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure rise majestically, each with its own distinct charm, while the enigmatic Sphinx gazes into the distance.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to a trove of ancient artifacts, including the 3200-year-old, 82-ton statue of Ramses II, showcasing the ancient civilization's remarkable artistry.

River Nile
Day 3 – Cairo to Aswan & Nile River Cruise

Fly to Aswan early in the morning. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport exit and escort you to explore the highlights of Aswan.

Visit the High Dam and the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, the mother of Horus and the patron goddess of the pharaohs.

Continue to the Temple of Kom Ombo and the Temple of Edfu. The former is unique for its dual dedication - the southern half to the crocodile god Sobek and the northern half to the falcon god Haroeris. The latter is renowned for its beautifully preserved reliefs and inscriptions illustrating the temple's construction and ancient myths.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing felucca sail on the Nile. Sit back and take in the sunset, or step ashore to visit the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island.

Day 4 – Nile River Cruise: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

At 4:00 AM, set out on a drive of about three hours to Abu Simbel (Optional tour, price is not included) to visit its magnificent temples - masterpieces of ancient Egyptian art and architecture. Their unique style reflects the glory and grandeur of the New Kingdom. You’ll have around one and a half hours to explore the site before driving back to Aswan to board your Nile cruise.

Enjoy free time for the rest of the day.

Day 5 – Nile River Cruise: Luxor & Valley of the Kings

Sail for Esna & visit its temple, sail to Luxor. Visit Luxor Temple. This temple is testimony to the history of the continuous history of Egypt, beginning from the 18th dynasty of Ancient Egyptian rule to the 14th century AD when a mosque was built in the complex. Many pharaohs played a part in building this temple over the years including Tutankhamen, Hatshepsut, Ramses II, and Amenhotep III.

Day 6 – Luxor to Cairo: Karnak & Luxor Temples

Breakfast followed by cruise disembarkation. Your tour today will start with the Valley of the Kings. For a period of nearly 500 years, tombs were constructed for the kings and powerful nobles of Ancient Egypt. In modern times, the valley has become famous for the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamen and is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world.

On the West Bank, you will also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and see the Colossi of Memnon. Afterwards, you will cross the Nile and visit Karnak Temple. This Ancient complex covers an area of ca. 2 sq. km. The temple of Amun, the complex's main structure, is the largest place of worship ever built!

After the tour, take a flight back to Cairo for the last night in Egypt. On arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Day 7 – Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo Tour

After a delightful breakfast, set out to explore the impressive National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Cairo - a modern museum that traces Egypt's history from prehistoric times to the present day. Discover fascinating galleries filled with artifacts, textiles, and tools, and don't miss the highlight: the Royal Mummies Hall, where ancient pharaohs rest in a specially designed setting.

Then visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Muhammad Ali Mosque with your knowledgeable guide offering insightful commentary along the way. Featuring striking towers, elegant domes, and grand palaces and mosques, this monumental hilltop castle served as the power seat of successive Egyptian rulers since its completion in 1182.

Afterward, go straight to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Stroll through the mazelike alleyways of this traditional market, let the colors and scents of exotic spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs excite your senses, and catch a glimpse of local life.
