Balloon Safari, DJ Experience & Memorial Moment

Maasai Mara

The day begins before sunrise with an early wake-up call and transfer to the launch site for a truly unforgettable experience — the hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara. As the balloon gently lifts into the sky, guests will enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the savannah awakening below. During the flight, a curated Elijah Desmond DJ set onboard sets a reflective and uplifting tone, creating a unique and memorable sunrise experience. At a designated moment, the group will pause for a private memorial ceremony led by a priest, providing a respectful and deeply personal opportunity to honor and lay to rest Elijah’s father’s ashes. Key moments of this experience will be professionally documented by a videographer, ensuring the memories are preserved with sensitivity and care.

Upon landing, guests will be welcomed to a champagne bush breakfast in the heart of the Mara, where the morning’s experience can be shared and reflected upon in a relaxed, natural setting. The remainder of the day is left flexible, allowing guests to choose between an optional additional game drive for further wildlife encounters or leisure time at the camp to rest, reflect, and enjoy the surroundings.

As evening approaches, the group will come together for dinner at the safari camp, enjoying a peaceful night under the African sky. The day concludes with an overnight stay in the Maasai Mara, closing a profoundly meaningful and extraordinary chapter of the journey.
