Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where a Safari N Smiles representative will assist with your visa, customs, and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, relax or explore the city at your leisure.

Begin your Cairo city tour with the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures of King Tutankhamun. Continue to the Citadel of Salah El Din and the stunning Mohammed Ali Mosque, famous for its panoramic views of Cairo. End your day shopping at the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, known for Egyptian souvenirs, spices, and gold jewelry.

Dress Code: Modest clothing is required when visiting mosques and churches.

Day 2 – Full Day in Cairo: Memphis, Saqqara & Giza Pyramids

After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist guide and driver for a full-day Cairo tour exploring ancient Egypt’s most famous sites.

Begin in Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, then continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest stone structure. Next, visit the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Day 3 – Cairo to Aswan & Nile River Cruise

Begin your day with a private transfer to the airport for your short flight from Cairo to Aswan. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to board your luxury Nile River Cruise. After check-in, start exploring Aswan’s top attractions with your private Egyptologist guide.

Visit the impressive High Dam, an engineering marvel that powers Egypt, and the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis — relocated by UNESCO to save it from flooding. Later, enjoy a relaxing Felucca sail on the Nile, passing Elephantine Island, and stroll through the lush Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island.

Day 4 – Nile River Cruise: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Sail along the Nile River to Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the unique Temple of Sobek and Haroeris, a fascinating Greco-Roman double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Horus the Elder.

Continue cruising to Edfu to explore the magnificent Temple of Horus, Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple and the second largest after Karnak. Built during the Ptolemaic era, it showcases the grandeur of traditional Pharaonic architecture.

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture dedicated to Egypt’s powerful female pharaoh. End your tour at the massive Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that once guarded the temple of Amenhotep III.
